We visited the place on a quest to taste the food and determine if it was worth the hype, trying to figure out for ourselves what the hullabaloo was all about. You could either travel here near Nagasandra Metro Station (braving Bangalore's traffic could make you much hungrier), or you could take the metro.
We arrived to see a long waiting list of friends and relatives, all patiently waiting to lay their hands on this place's famous stuffed paranthas. Remember that this is not a swanky hotel, so don't expect a captivating atmosphere or well-dressed waiters. This outlet is straight forward, and the power that runs this place is the main guy, Bobby. You won't find any traditional cots peculiar to other Dhaba-style restaurants, even though the location is called a Dhaba. We eventually got a table after a long wait of an hour and a half. We purchased some of the Aloo Paranthas, Rajma-Chawal, Lassi, and Buttermilk classics.
And trust us, we were unable to find flaws in anything. Even the plain buttermilk left with no words; it had a potent spicy punch that you wouldn't want to get over with an aftertaste. Any time we crave Dhaba fare, we know we'll certainly visit this place!
