5 Premium Motorbikes for Explorers and Speed Enthusiasts
2020 meant keeping motorcycles in the garage for the majority of the year and keeping riding gear back in the closet. Superbikes are powerful, exciting, and adrenaline-inducing machines that get every motorcycle enthusiast's heart racing.
Digitisation provided the ideal foil, allowing manufacturers to announce new and thrilling versions, giving us confidence that we will be able to go out and travel to our hearts' delight once more. With that in mind, it's time to welcome this year, which promises more luxury bikes arriving on the shores. If you're hunting for a machine with exceptional performance, here are some of the best superbikes for 2021.
Ducati Monster
To say the 2021 Ducati Monster is all-new is an underestimate. It is all-new, but if you're a fan of the first muscled nude streetfighter, it might be a little too new. With its modern and lighter chassis that replaces the steel trellis assembly and a 937 cc L-Twin engine that produces 110 bhp and 93 Nm of peak torque, the Ducati Monster remains one of the most widely awaited launches. With a dry weight of just 166 kg, the current Ducati Monster claims to be a fiery middleweight naked bike.
Tiger 850 Sport by Triumph
The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport will be another British vehicle arriving in India next year. The baby Tiger 850 shares its underpinnings with the larger Tiger 900, right down to the frame and engine, and was unveiled globally shortly after the Trident 660. This one, on the other hand, is more of a tourer than an adventure-ready offering. The 888cc in-line three-cylinder engine has been detuned to produce 84 bhp and 82 Nm of peak torque, and it has two riding modes: Road and Rain. It also has alloy wheels rather than spoked wheels, with the same premium hardware like the 900. The more intriguing aspect would be the pricing, which is supposed to be significantly lower than the Tiger 900.
Honda 500-Series
Honda 2Wheelers India plans to expand its 'large wings' this year with the introduction of the 500 cc range, in addition to the 650 cc lineup. The mid-capacity motorcycles will be the polar opposite of the sub-500 cc KTM and Husqvarna bikes, and Honda already sells a range of them overseas. The CBR500R, CBR500X, CB500F, and Rebel 500 are some of the models scheduled to be released this year by Honda. The motorcycles, which are powered by a 499 cc parallel-twin engine that produces 47 bhp and 43 Nm of peak torque, are likely to be assembled locally, resulting in a low price tag.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR
In 2020, Kawasaki won the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) for the sixth year in a row, and the 2021 Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR will carry the brand's track supremacy to the road. The new litre-class motorcycles were introduced earlier this year and will arrive in India next year. A subtly reworked frame updated integrated winglet configuration for a more aggressive look and improved aerodynamic properties, and updated packaging are among the upgrades. With a new intake and exhaust valve springs, titanium connecting rods, and lightweight pistons, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR has a more track-bred engine. All of the modifications resulted in a 1 bhp increase in power output. In terms of track times, it's cutting milliseconds off, and sometimes it's all that separates a winner.
Suzuki Hayabusa 2021
Hayabusa has gained a cult following since its appearance in the Bollywood film Dhoom. The Suzuki Hayabusa 2021 is expected to arrive in India in April 2021. However, unofficial bookings for the bike have begun, with the token sum set at INR 2 lakh, according to Express Drives. The appearance of the Hayabusa will be similar to that of its ancestor, with the exception that it will be sleeker. A 1,340cc inline four-cylinder engine mated to six-speed transmission power the bike. According to Express, the new model has ten levels of wheelie control, three stages of engine brake control, ten stages of traction control, launch control, and cruise control.
Aside from these exciting releases, bike manufacturers such as Benelli, Ducati, Yamaha, MV Agusta, and others are set to release BS6 models.
